Important note:
I’ve decided to make all my games on itch completely free. I also removed the “Pay-what-you-want” option as a form of protest against the recent changes the platform has made regarding payment processor censorship.
While I understand delisting problematic games from the store, removing already purchased titles from players’ libraries without issuing refunds is, in my opinion, unacceptable. I don’t want to support a platform that treats its customers that way.
If you’d like to support my work, you can do so through my ko-fi or visit my website for other ways to help.
I encourage other developers and players to protest in the same way. As a player, I’ve stopped purchasing games through itch.io and now actively ask developers to provide alternative ways to support them, if available.
While I understand that itch.io may have had no choice but to comply with the censorship imposed by payment processors, they still had the option to keep previously purchased games accessible. Instead, they chose to do the wrong thing.
I’ll continue this protest until they reverse these policies.
Thank you so much for your support.
